The new system features hook locks that are engaged by lifting up the handle on the new CarTeck lever handle, just as you would on a typical patio door lock.

The new three-point locking is made up of a central mortice lock and hook locks towards the top and bottom of the door leaf edge. The handle must be raised to engage the hook locks (as you would on a patio door) and the mortice and handle are locked with the key.
Hook locks at the top and bottom of the door provide dependable security. When the hook locks engage, the top and bottom of the active leaf can be set using the adjustable latch keeps to pull the door leaf in, helping to compress the seal for a better fit.
The top and bottom hook locks and the centre lock have adjustable keeps that allow for snug alignment of the latching. Adjustment is made by a simple turn of the adjustment screws.
The centre latch also features latch hold functionality, handy if you don't want the door to latch when pushed to the closed position.
The new CarTeck lever handle comes in Satin Nickel as standard, is durable and attractive. Choose from six optional upgrade colours.
The handle is easy to install - insert the spindle, slide on the handles and tighten the screws to the inside handle, done!
Minimum height for the new 3-point locking is 1950mm - there is no variance on horizontal or vertical doors. The minimum height for the pin 3-point locking supplied with D-handles is 1950mm on horizontal doors and 2020mm on vertical doors.
These doors retain the original 3-point locking with central mortice lock and twin extending pin locks, engaged by turning the key in the lock cylinder. This 3-point locking remains the same price, £510 + VAT list.
