It may surprise you to know 2023 is Teckentrup UK’s 15th year. Jim Rodger set up Teckentrup Depot on September the 1st 2008. At the time, there were signs that the global economy was in turmoil. Then, on the 15th of September, investment bank Lehman Brothers collapsed, and the world went into recession. Perfect timing!
They say "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and 15 years on Teckentrup is flourishing. We'll be covering more in the weeks ahead to celebrate this milestone and the current capabilities of Teckentrup - we've lots of positive things to share! The two pieces below are just a taster...
Pictures of trucks might not be your thing but we're pretty excited about our latest additions. It takes our trusty fleet to four, double our 2022 capability! These beasts are no small investment and are yet another step on our journey to deliver on our promise to be the best in the industry.
For the truckers out there, they have a type 1 cab, normally found on articulated trucks, but on a fixed trailer. Kev Broadhurst, who many will know for going the extra mile to make deliveries run smoothly, is taking the wheel of one of them and say's it's the perfect combo, nothing less than he deserves for all his hours on the road! We couldn't agree more and salute our drivers Brian Milne, Kev Broadhurst, Paul McRoberts, Tom Scott and Mick Saxon.
